Your assumptions

Describe the work you can measure today

Use recent time logs or a conservative estimate. Every number can be changed.

Scenario result

What your assumptions produce

Calculate to see the current coordination cost and the modeled difference after subscription price.

Private by design

The calculator runs in your browser. It asks for no case, patient, employee, or contact information. A share link contains only the seven numeric assumptions above.

Calculation method

The formulas behind the result

  1. 1. Monthly coordination hours
    Weekly status and duplicate-entry hours × 52 ÷ 12, plus monthly invoice follow-up hours.
  2. 2. Current coordination cost
Monthly coordination hours × loaded hourly cost, plus late/rush cases × extra handling cost.
  3. 3. Gross scenario reduction
Current coordination cost × the reduction percentage you enter.
  4. 4. Net scenario difference
Gross scenario reduction minus $59/month, or twelve months of the reduction minus $449/year.

What the scenario does not claim

  • It is not a projection, guarantee, quote, or promise of savings.
  • It does not estimate revenue growth, remake prevention, recovered invoices, or dentist retention.
  • It excludes implementation, training, workflow change, taxes, and any costs you do not enter.
  • A positive result only means your assumptions are mathematically above the subscription price. Test those assumptions with real cases.

Questions about the ROI calculator

Does this calculator predict what Dental Lab Guru will save?

No. It applies a reduction percentage that you choose to the coordination costs that you enter. The result is a scenario for evaluation, not a forecast, guarantee, or customer outcome claim.

What should be included in hourly cost?

Use the measure that is most useful to your lab. That may be wages alone or a loaded labor cost that also includes the employment costs you choose to count. Consistency matters more than precision when comparing scenarios.

Does the calculator include revenue growth or remake prevention?

No. It only models the time and avoidable handling costs you enter. It does not assign value to revenue growth, recovered invoices, fewer remakes, improved dentist retention, training, implementation, or taxes.

Is the information I enter saved or sent?

No. The calculation runs in your browser and asks for no contact, patient, case, or employee information. If you copy a share link, the seven numeric assumptions are added to that URL.

Test the workflow with real cases

Use the 14-day trial to compare your measured baseline with your own result after running a small batch of cases.
