Step 1: Build a catalog
List every material you use — zirconia discs, alloys, ceramics, acrylics, implant components, consumables — with a clear name and unit.
Step 2: Set stock levels
Record current stock for every catalog item. Do this once, then keep it updated.
Step 3: Set low-stock thresholds
For each item, decide the level at which you want to reorder. Below that level, the system should alert you.
Step 4: Link materials to suppliers
Every material should have at least one supplier. That way reordering takes seconds.
Step 5: Review weekly
A 10-minute weekly review of low-stock items prevents emergency orders.
This is exactly the workflow built into Dental Lab Guru's inventory module.
